Why Separate Email Account for Directory Submission

Directory submission is a process of submitting URLs to various web directories either to do it manually or by automatic software. All directories submission form has an email column, which is compulsory in all cases. So you need an email ID, and domain email works better as the directory editor has confidence that the submission is genuine. Now the question is why it should be a separate valid email.
