Bing

Bing is a web search engine owned and run by Microsoft. As a substitute for the MSN Search engine, it was introduced in 2009. To enable customers to find what they need accurately and quickly, it helps to offer a variety of search tools. Bing also delivers a range of features, including a personalization platform, finance, travel, fashion, food, shopping, and maps. Weather, News, and videos are also provided by the Bing search engine. Bing is a strong search engine for both companies and individuals, and it is increasingly used by groups and businesses to boost their visibility and reach. In the coming days, yahoo search will be powered by Bing as Yahoo and Microsoft deal.

BackLinks

Backlinks can be defined as links pointing to your website or webpage. They are also known as inbound links or links or inward links. They are a base of web culture when a website links to your website. They are an important part of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and are considered one of the most important aspects in assisting a page rank higher in search engine results. Backlinks are useful in various ways, including improving brand popularity, increasing credibility and trust with search engines, and allowing to boost website traffic. Also, backlinks are a wonderful way to create relationships with other websites in your industry, as well as improve conversion rates and sales. As a result, having a strong backlinks profile is key to a website‘s success.

Bidding

Bidding means placing a bid price that you are willing to pay as an advertiser on a pay-per-click search engine. The highest bid for a given keyword achieves the top spot in the pay-per-click search results. Its goal is to drive the price down similar to the bid shopping practice of selecting a contractor to do a job.

Blog

Blogs are a type of online diary, maintained by people to make entries on a regular basis. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, Web pages, and other media related to its topic. Almost every category of blogs are available on the internet like Personal blogs, Business related blogs, Corporate and Organizational blogs etc. The ability of readers to leave comments in an interactive manner is an important feature of many blogs. They may be authored by a single author or by several. Blogs are frequently used to convey personal thoughts, promote goods and services, discuss current events, and inform readers about particular topics. With the help of blogs, you may interact with individuals worldwide, share your ideas, and get comments from others who share your interests.

Bots

Bots are also known as Web Robots. These are the software applications that run automated tasks over the Internet. Typically, bots perform tasks that are both simple and structurally repetitive, at a much higher rate than would be possible for a human alone. The most common internet bots are the spider bots which are used for web server analysis and file data gathering. They are used to provide the required higher response rate for some online services like online auctions and online gaming. You can generate a Robot.txt file to navigate web crawlers to crawl your site.

Black Hat

Black Hat is a term used to describe SEO tactics that are against the SEO guidelines. Black Hat SEO techniques are used to manipulate website rankings in an unethical and often illegal manner. It is also termed Spamdexing, which attempts to redirect search results to particular target pages in a way that is against the search engine’s terms of service. Various Black Hat SEO tactics include keyword stuffing, hidden text and links, doorway and cloaked pages, link farming and blog comment spam. These techniques are frowned upon by search engines because they violate the guidelines of the search engine’s algorithm and can cause people to experience poor search results. They can also have a negative impact on a website’s ranking, credibility, and reputation, which can cause a website to lose visibility and sales.

Banner Ad

With the help of Banner ads, one can put up their advertisement on the world wide web or the Internet. Banner ads are also termed image ads or display advertisements. With the help of the Banner ads, the online user can advertise their products on the internet. The banner ad is the most effective and cheap mode of advertisement.  It is typically situated at the top or side of a webpage and often includes hyperlinks to the publisher’s website or landing page. In addition to text and pictures, a banner ad may also have audio, animation, or video. There are many different sizes and types of banner ads, including static, animated, embedded, and expandable.

Blacklist

A blacklist is a type of list of groups that due to some factors do not have access, recognition or privilege. Blacklisting is a type of tool for reducing spam. In case the IP address of a mail server is blacklisted few of the emails sent by that person might not be delivered. The working of the blacklist is simple as it prevents the delivery of a message of a person from reaching the IP address’s owner’s site. In simple words, the SEO term for blacklist is a group of products that are invalid or disapproved.

Blog Comment Spam

By blog comment spam one means automatic or manual addition of unrelated, low-value, and no-value comments on the other person’s site. Those who are owners of a blog face the chance of comment spam on their blog by other online users. The quantity of spam depends on the blog’s popularity, that more popular the blog more would be the spam. One faces a very tough time while checking out comments to figure out which of them are spam.

The blogs in the network will often incorporate topics relevant to the theme of the website, but may also be independent. A Blogger is an individual updating or keeping a weblog or blog updated. Bloggers have the ability to share their experience and knowledge with other users worldwide through blogs. While some bloggers may specialise in writing, others may provide content in the form of photographs, audio, and/or video. Bloggers utilise their blogs as a conversational platform, interacting with other content creators and their readers to discuss ideas or tell stories. Bloggers also often integrate social media (such as Instagram, Twitter or Facebook) into their sites, letting them achieve a larger audience and gain more clout in their industry. While blogging can be used to mark awareness to causes, promote businesses, or earn money, it is one of the finest techniques to practice self-expression and connect with other like-minded individuals.

Bookmarks

Bookmarks are links to webpages that are stored in a web browser in order to easily revisit them in the future. Bookmarks usually consist of the web page’s URL and title. Browsers like Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari let users save links to their favourite websites, enabling them to access them fast whenever they’d like. Bookmarks are one of the most useful techniques for opening web pages Fast and efficiently. To bookmark a webpage, navigate to the URL bar in your web browser and select “Add Bookmark” or “Bookmark this Page.” Bookmarks can then be organised into folders to customise and reduce browser clutter.  Also, They can also be used to easily share web pages with friends or colleagues.

Brand

The brand is a name, term, design, symbol, or other feature that distinguishes one company, person, or product from another, in the eyes of the customer. The Brand refers to handling the expectations of customers and the social dealing with which the customer has the ability to build a brand. With the help of brand building one moves in the direction of greater margin value which is based on pricing and it let you move away from price based on commodity. A successful brand strategy requires a deep understanding of customers, competitors, and the market, and involves creating and reinforcing unique perceptions in the minds of customers. Effective brands will influence customer decisions and drive loyalty, fostering customer satisfaction, higher sales, and ultimately, improved business performance.

Broken Link

A Broken Link is a HyperText Markup Language (HTML) link on a webpage that leads to an invalid web address.

An error message is displayed whenever a broken link is clicked. Broken links, which can create negative impressions and unprofessional pictures in the minds of website visitors, must be addressed quickly by website developers and designers.

A broken link can also be referred to as a broken hyperlink or a dead link.

Browser

By browser, We mean an application of a software nature, which is used for presenting, gathering, and traversing resource information on the website. The resource of information is defined by URI or uniform resource identifier. It can be anything like an image, video, web page, or content piece. The presence of hyperlinks on the browser helps the user to navigate their browser into connected resources. Browsers enable users to stay connected and engage with content on the internet.
